Steven Sitkowski has been named president of Empire Investment Advisors, a new division of Empire Financial Group of Longwood, Fla. that will provide investors with investment advice and portfolio management. Sitkowski will also continue in his role as national sales manager for Empire Financial Group.
David B.H. Martin has been named director of the SEC's division of corporate finance. Martin joined the SEC from Hogan & Hartson of Washington, a law firm. Martin succeeds Brian Lane, who had been corporate finance director since 1996. Lane will join the Washington office of the law firm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP of Los Angeles as a partner Jan. 1.
