Gavin Quill has joined Financial Research Corp. of Boston as senior vice president for research. Quill was previously the founder of Quill Consulting of Boston, which specialized in financial services marketing. Prior to that, Quill was vice president for global cross business development at Scudder Kemper Investments of Boston.
The Calvert Group of Bethesda, Md. has hired John Blanchard to the new position of senior vice president for social products and policy. Blanchard will talk with members of the media and institutions that have expressed interest in having Calvert socially screen their private clients' accounts. He will also be working with Calvert's internal seven-member social research analytic team.
