Jack Caldwell, president of AIM Fund Services of Houston, the transfer agent subsidiary of AIM Management Group of Houston, retired June 30, after 36 years. Tony Green, previously senior operations officer, is assuming Caldwell's position.

Deutsche Asset Management of New York has formed a new senior management structure and Michael Phillip has been named group board president. Phillip was previously head of global equities in Deutsche Bank's global corporate and institutions division. He replaced Michael Dobson, who resigned from the bank June 9. Sir Robert Smith will report to Phillip as vice chairman, responsible for global distribution, private equity and the offshore group. Saman Majd has joined Deutsche Asset Management as vice chairman, responsible for global product development. Majd was previously with Deutsche's global corporates and institutions division, in charge of derivatives and government bonds. Mark Gelnaw has joined the asset division as chief operating officer. Gelnaw also was previously with the global corporates and institutions division, as head of equity finance.
