State Street Corp. of Boston has hired a team of executives and salespeople for its St. Louis office, in an effort to expand its middle market business, the company announced. Kevin Jones will head the office. He was previously a regional director with Bankers Trust of New York. His team will include Norine Flaherty, Claire Douglass and David Dahm, all of whom were previously with Boatmen's Trust of St. Louis.
Daniel Dart has joined Pioneer Investment Management as national sales manager. He will be responsible for Pioneer's U.S. retail sales, including key distributor relationships. He was previously with Alliance Capital Management of New York as senior vice president, national sales manager, financial advisors.
John Mannix has joined Rydex of Rockville, Md. as vice president, national sales manager. He was previously with Strong Funds of Milwaukee.
Reuben Cohen has joined Putnam Lovell Securities of San Francisco as managing director, and Bob Nelson has joined the firm as senior vice president, capital markets and fixed income. Cohen was previously director of the structured finance business at Bankers Trust of New York, and Nelson was previously with FEP/Constellation of New York, which provides distribution finance.
Warren Toland is now the public relations manager of State Street Research & Management of Boston, a new position. He was previously the public relations director and assistant director of development at Austin Preparatory School of Reading, Mass.
