Four executives at Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Co. of Boston have been promoted to vice president. Ed Nigro and John Danahy have been named vice presidents for research and development. John Farinacci is now vice president for finance and Jed Neureuter is vice president for client services.
Fidelity Institutional Retirement Services has also promoted two of its executives. Joseph LoRusso, who has been executive vice president for large plan services, was named president of the group. David Liebrock now has LoRusso's old position. He had been executive vice president of Fidelity Management Trust Co.
John Hunt has been named senior vice president and associate general counsel of Nvest Companies of Boston. He had been an associate with Goodwin, Procter & Hoar of Boston.
Eric Pittomvils has been named managing director for European retail fund distribution for American International Group of New York. He was previously with UBS of New York, as country head of Northern Europe.
