Kinetics Asset Management of White Plains, N.Y., which commanded considerable attention last year because of the outstanding performance of its Internet Fund, has launched its first-ever television ad campaign.
The ads focus on Kinetics' Internet Fund, as well as on satellite Internet funds the firm has launched within the last few months, including The Internet Infrastructure Fund, The Internet Emerging Growth Fund, The Internet Global Growth Fund and The Internet New Paradigm Fund.
The TV spots will initially air exclusively on CNBC and then expand to CNN, CNNfn and Bloomberg News. The commercials have been designed to be easily adaptable to print and online versions. Kinetics has not disclosed what it is spending on the ad campaign.
