Merrill Lynch Snaps Up Barclays Advisor Duo

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has snapped up a financial advisor duo with $789.5 million in client assets under management months after they joined Barclays Wealth Management.

Matt Celenza and Larry DiGioia join in Los Angeles from Barclays, where they had $4.4 million in annual fees and commissions. They joined Barclays earlier this year following 11 years at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.  

Also joining Merrill Lynch with their team are Linda Hayes, Andrea Shieh and Shannon Walker.

The hiring news comes as Merrill Lynch also added seven advisors from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in California, Florida and Michigan this month.
