Money Management Executive's 2010 Operations Awards Presented at NICSA GMM at the Boston Harvard Club

BOSTON -- Money Management Executive Publisher Michael Stanton presented the 2010 Fund Operations Awards on May 20 at NICSA's General Membership Meeting at the Downtown Harvard Club here.

First Place, Visionary Leadership went to Donald J. Boteler, vice president of operations and continuing education at the Investment Company Institute.

Accepting the First Place Award for Back Office Efficiencies and Streamlining for Putnam Investments was Managing Director Michael Woodall, who was also named chairman of NICSA at the meeting.

In presenting the awards, Stanton, EVP and managing director of the Capital Markets Division of SourceMedia, said: "This is the eighth year we've presented the awards, but in some ways, it's the most exciting-both due to our partnership with NISCA as co-sponsor, and because this year's honorees show the results of our effort to hone in on the investment companies that are changing the way they do business.

"These are awards for innovation-advances that benefit shareholders, and the entire industry, by charting a course that others can follow," he said.
