Montage Boosts Assets, Distribution Team

Leawood, Ka.-based Montage Investments has been busy lately adding more sales executives, assets and a new mutual fund to boot.

The firm today reported that assets at the firm’s affiliated investment managers have increased to more than $16 billion, reflecting an increase of more than $3 billion in the last five months.

In addition, the firm’s affiliate, Tortoise Capital Advisors, in April launched its second mutual fund – the Tortoise North American Energy Independence Fund (TNPTX), which bets North American energy companies and is managed by Zachary Hamel and David Schulte.

As well, Montage has added eight new hires to its sales team including Jason McElwee, Managing Director-National Sales, and regional consultants Brett Frascati, Eric Bowen, Judy Gutierrez, Mark Peterson, Taylor Dorman, Chris Sullivan, Andrew Good and Rickey Gallagher.

“As we continue to grow, we will remain focused on delivering boutique asset managers and alternative investments to financial advisors and their clients,” stated Gary Henson, president and chief investment officer of Montage.
