A former Wells Fargo advisor managing $53 million in client assets moved to Morgan Stanley, a firm spokeswoman said.

Matthew McDowell, who was generating $614,000 in production at Wells, joined Morgan's office in Napa, Calif., according to the firm. He reports to Thomas Webster, branch manager.
McDowell had been at Wells Fargo since joining the industry in 2004, according to FINRA records.
Morgan previously announced three advisors managing about $900 million in combined assets also joined the wirehouse. Among the recruits was another Wells Fargo advisor, Thomas Cagganello, who joined Morgan's office in Westport, Conn.
