“This will be a fast-paced investment program,” said Victor Hogstrom, chief executive officer of KCPT-TV. Government officials, journalists, scholars and mutual fund managers will be invited to appear on the show.
“I’ve charged [KCPT Executive Producer] Nick Haines with the responsibility of making sure this show is clean, objective and not promotional in any fashion,” Hogstrom said.
The station will be looking for a sponsor, but it won’t be The Mutual Fund Store, he added. The goal of the show will be to provide investors with practical information.
