New Website Caters to Women Investors

FinancialMuse.com of Philadelphia has launched the first website dedicated to women's financial issues that also allows onsite financial transactions, the company announced.

The company, which functions like an online brokerage, will provide investors with information on various financial investments, an asset allocator and a mechanism that allows them to buy and sell mutual funds, securities and also conduct online banking, according to Cassandra Toroian, president and CEO of FinancialMuse.com.

"The big difference from us and other women's sites is our site has an execution mechanism," said Toroian.

Mutual funds will be emphasized on the site because women generally stick to their investments, Toroian said.

There is a $2,000 minimum investment on all transactions conducted on the site.
