North Peak Fund Hedges Against Inflation

North Peak Asset Management has added a new fund to its family. The Duxbury, MA shop launched the Inflation Hedges Strategy fund (INHIX, INHRX) which will invest in asset classes that are sensitive to increases in inflation.

The fund’s assets will be sub-advised by Wellington Management Company; Parametric Portfolio Associates; Mellon Capital Management Corporation; Commodity Strategies AG; City of London Investment Group and The Boston Company Asset Management.

Michael Hanus, portfolio manager of the fund, said in the release, “We’ve chosen six specialist institutional investment firms as sub-advisors that normally can only be accessed by pension funds, endowments and foundations.”

The fund will be sold on over 250 domestic platforms, including Charles Schwab, Fidelity FundsNetwork and Pershing. It will also be available for direct purchase.
