OpFunds Preps Alt Fund of Funds

OppenheimerFunds is prepping a diversified alternative fund that will bet on its own offerings.

Accroding to a filing, the Oppenheimer Diversified Alternatives Fund will invest in the Oppenheimer Commodity Strategy Total Return Fund, Oppenheimer Currency Opportunities Fund, Oppenheimer Global Multi Strategies Fund, Oppenheimer Gold & Special Minerals Fund, Oppenheimer Real Estate Fund, SteelPath MLP Alpha Fund, SteelPath MLP Select 40 Fund and the SteelPath MLP and Infrastructure Debt Fund.

The fund's investment advisor is SteelPath Fund Advisors, which is to become an affiliate of OpFunds in the fourth quarter. The portfolio manager of the new offering is Alan Gilston.
