Organic Growth Pushes Virtus AUM Up

Virtus Investment Partners reported a 56% organic growth rate in net flows for long-term, open-end mutual funds in Q1 2013.

The firm saw inflows of $5.7 billion and outflows of $2.15 billion. Total assets under management at Virtus grew from $25.8 billion at the beginning of the quarter to $30.6 billion at the end of the quarter.

The multi-manager boutique includes affiliates such as Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co., Euclid Advisors, Kayne Anderson Rudnick Investment Management, Newfleet Asset Management, Newfound Investments, Rampart Investment Management Co., and Zweig Advisers.
