Raymond James & Associates named Frank Amigo, South Florida complex manager, 2013 branch manager of the year.
Amigo has grown his complexs annual revenue to $32 million from $4 million and has boost client assets to $5 billion from $337 million, according to Tash Elwyn, president of Raymond James & Associates.
Frank is the personification of an ideal branch manager, Elwyn said in a statement. Since joining the firm 13 years ago, and using his skills as a recruiter and empathetic leader, he has grown his complex from one office with 10 advisors to six offices with more than 60 advisors, including two of the top five advisors in the firm.
According to Elwyn, under Amigo, the complex retained all of its legacy Morgan Keegan advisors.
Amigo has been with Raymond James since 2001 and currently supervises branches in South Florida communities such as Miami, Key West and Miami Beach. He has been in the industry since 1987, previously working for Merrill Lynch in Miami.
The annual award is given to one of the 200 complex and branch managers within the Raymond James & Associates system.
