Wells Fargo Plucks $348M Advisor Team From Morgan

Wells Fargo Advisors landed two Morgan Stanley advisors who managed $348 million in combined assets, the second team from the firm to defect over to Wells this month.

Advisors Alison Scavone and William Bates and client associates Summer Gigliotti and Jennifer Blair joined Wells Fargo's Westport, Conn. office this month.

Scavone started her career in 1981 at Merrill Lynch, according to FINRA records. Scavone later worked at Lehman Brothers. Bates joined Smith Barney in 2006, staying through the firm's merger with Morgan Stanley.

Earlier in August, a Morgan Stanley advisor team that managed about $300 million in assets joined Wells Fargo's Denver office. That team included advisors Chris O’Neil and Joe Jaensen, as well as senior client associate Terri Lo Sasso.
