Rookie Mutual Fund to Launch Maiden Offering

Newly-formed mutual fund shop New York-based Wavelength Capital Management is looking to catch the mutual fund wave with its own proposed offering, dubbed the Wavelength Interest Rate Neutral Fund.

According to a regulatory filing, the fund will bet on the global fixed income securities market via investments in government fixed-income and inflation-linked bonds, exchange-traded funds, and derivatives (including futures contracts and exchange-traded notes). The fund will be managed by Andrew Dassori, founder of Wavelength.

Previously, Dassori was a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse Asset Management before founding Wavelength in March 2013.
