Bond funds saw an outflow of $3.41 billion compared with $1.27 billion last week, while hybrid funds, a mix of stocks and bonds, saw an outflow of $1.38 billion, compared with $514 million in the former week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced an increase of 3.5% for the week ending July 23, the Nasdaq Composite Index an increase of 1.8%, and the Standard & Poors 500 Index posted a 3% increase.
