T. Rowe Enhances Adviser Website

T. Rowe Price’s new website gives financial intermediaries faster, easier access to more in-depth data and industry news, according to the company. The new site Troweprice.com/fi, which replaced the firm’s old site, features three main navigation sections: funds, adviser resources and news and updates.

The site gives RIAs, financial advisers, banks and even insurance companies greater access to the firm’s investment professionals through new mass media features, such as video interviews, podcasts and webinars. Under the adviser resources tab, advisers can also download thought papers, receive sales support and sign up for newsletters created by T. Rowe Price investment professionals.

In January, T. Rowe launched Fund Data Portal, a web resource that allows intermediaries to customize and download information on T. Rowe Price mutual funds. The new site offers enhanced speed for the Fund Data Portal as well as charts and tables. The company has no plans to expand its data beyond T. Rowe Price funds at this time.

“We know our audience is looking for ways to educate themselves and make them better at their job,” said Bill Weker, vice president of marketing/web strategy and development in third-party distribution at T. Rowe Price. “So we wanted to put a focus on our intellectual capital and our views on different aspects of the market such as new papers on market volatility and Social Security.”
