Timber! Midwest Firm Preps Agri Fund

Pewaukee, WI-based Capital Innovations is currently prepping a fund that will bet on timber and farm-related, the Journal Sentinel reports.

Specifically, the CI Global Infrastructure, Timber & Agribusiness Fund will reportedly invest in companies building infrastructure in energy, transportation and other areas; owning and managing forest and timberlands; or the production and distribution of agricultural products and related equipment and materials such as fertilizers and farming equipment.

Michael Underhill, co-founder and chief executive officer of Capital Innovations, and Susan Dambekaln, co-founder, will be the fund's portfolio managers. The new fund sports an expense ratio of 110 basis points.
