UBS hired three advisors who generated more than $3 million in annual revenue, a spokesman said.
The new recruits all joined the same UBS office in Walnut Creek, Calif., where they report to Erin Borger, complex director.
Advisor Douglas "Kent" Clayburn joined UBS from Morgan where he generated $1.625 million in annual revenues and managed approximately $250 million in client assets.
Clayburn started his financial services career in 1978 with Smith Barney, according to FINRA BorkerCheck records. He later worked for RBC before joining Morgan Stanley in 2008.
UBS also said that it hired two veteran Morgan advisors, John Bruzzone and Ed Silva, earlier this year. While at Morgan, the duo generated $1.65 million in annual revenue and oversaw about $230 million in assets.
Bruzzone had been with Morgan since 1984, according to BrokerCheck. Silva joined the firm in 1988.
Last week, UBS said it had lured away another Morgan team that managed about $2 billion in client assets. The four-member team, which operates as the Arthurs Malof Group, generated $10 million in annual revenue while at Morgan.
They joined the Swiss-owned wirehouse in Buffalo, N.Y.
