
UBS picked up three advisors who managed more than $600 million in combined assets, a spokesman said.
Advisor Jon Hawk, the largest of the new hires, came from Morgan Stanley, where he had worked since joining the industry in in 1991, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. While at Morgan, he managed approximately $450 million in client assets and generated $1 million in annual revenue.
Hawk joined UBS in Cannonsburg, Pa., where he reports to Branch Manager Lou Sforza and Complex Director Mic Lundon.
Advisor Xi Qiao joined UBS from Merrill Lynch, where she managed approximately $115 million in client assets and generated $1.1 million in annual revenues.
Xi joined UBS in San Francisco where she reports to Mike Williams, complex director. Her clients include entrepreneurs and their families in the Bay Area as well as China, UBS said.
She had been with Merrill since 2011.
UBS' third hire, Lechelle Moore, joined the wirehouse from SunTrust. Moore managed about $130 million in client assets and generated $1.23 million in annual revenues. She had been with SunTrust since 2004.
Moore joined UBS in Nashville, Tenn., where she reports to Jerry Johnson, complex director. Also moving with Moore are Aaron Fiske and Deborah Lenahan.
