UMB Dumps Moody's Ratings

UMB Financial Corporation has discontinued the use of Moody's Investors Service for rating both its UMBFC and UMB Bank n.a.

The company said it will continue to use Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor's to provide independent monitoring and financial strength rating, and said two ratings agencies is sufficient for its business needs.

UMB does not have any outstanding public debt.
