U.S. Bank trust professional promoted to leader of HNW market in Arizona, Nevada

The high-net-worth unit of U.S. Bank has promoted a managing director of trust and wealth planning to a new position leading the business in Arizona and Nevada.

Daniel Wani will command a team of 18 wealth management professionals providing a range of services to high-net-worth clients in both states, the bank said.

Wani is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and reports to Mary Martuscelli, west region president of U.S. Bank's Private Wealth Management unit.

Martuscelli had been serving as both president and market leader for Arizona and Nevada, according to the bank.

"The states of Arizona and Nevada are an important market for us, and I am thrilled to have someone of Daniel's caliber to lead the team," Martuscelli said in a statement.

Wani, an attorney licensed in both Arizona and New York, joined U.S. Bank in May 2015. He had previously been with Wells Fargo, where he was employed as a senior wealth planning strategist and senior estate specialist.
