FiNet Lures Advisors With $327M in Combined AUM

Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network has added six advisors with $327 million in client assets, the firm said.

Former Janney Montgomery Scott Advisors Steve Marchel, Tracy Santoro and Dan Campbell brought a combined $168 million in AUM to the team's newly opened independent practice with FiNet in Margate City, N.J., the firm says. Prior to joining Janney in 2008, the team worked for Raymond James and Wachovia Securities, according to FINRA records.

Marchel started his career with Merrill Lynch in 1987 before later joining DKB Securities and Lehman Brothers, BrokerCheck records show. Campbell also got his start in the industry with Merrill Lynch in 1988, FINRA says.

Former First Command advisor Martin Robbins has opened an independent practice with FiNet in Rochester, N.Y., according to the firm. Robbins manages over $74 million in AUM, FiNet says.

It was also announced that the firm recruited former Edward Jones Advisor Will Haase to an existing FiNet practice in Cincinnati. Haase has more than $32 million in AUM, according to the firm.

Meanwhile, former LPL Advisor Carrie Turcotte joined FiNet's RiverCrest Wealth Advisors in Chattanooga, Tenn. with more than $53 million in AUM. Turcotte got her start in the securities industry with Raymond James in 2006, BrokerCheck records show.

A former Morgan Stanley advisor team with $104 million in AUM recently left the wirehouse to open an independent practice with FiNet in Dallas.
