A Merrill Lynch team which oversaw $165 million in client assets has moved to Wells Fargo, the firm said.
The Holyszko Group, led by Jason Holyszko, made the move from Merrill to Wells, according to the wirehouse. Joining Holyszko are David Snider, Russell Wittkopp and Tammy Mentel, Wells said. The group, based in Saginaw, Mich., reports to Central Michigan Complex Manager Anthony Thorpe.
Wells Fargo also recruited three new complex mangers in Texas.
Ron Medaris, who moved to Wells Fargo from UBS, was placed in charge of the Wells Fargo Fort Worth complex. Prior to UBS, Medaris was with Merrill Lynch and Prudential Securities, according to FINRA Brokercheck records.
Chris Gerrish was hired to head Wells Fargo’s Dallas complex. Previously, Gerrish was an advisor and complex manager at UBS in Texas and Oklahoma, according to Wells. He now has responsibility for six of the firm’s offices and 140 Wells Fargo financial advisors.
Wells Fargo also added John T. McCauley to run its new Houston Galleria Complex. McCauley previously headed wealth management in the Midwest for Deutsche Bank. He had been with the wirehouse since 2010, and before that worked for UBS going back to 1991, BrokerCheck records show.
