RBC Wealth Management promoted an advisor to be branch director of its Oklahoma City office, which has approximately $600 million in assets, the firm said.
Tim Grantham, who will oversee four advisors and three other support staff in his new position, started his career as investment advisor at Merrill Lynch in 1989, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records.
Before joining RBC, Grantham was a financial advisor at UBS where he generated $1 million in annual production, the firm said. In his new role, Grantham will move from Texas, where he was previously based, to Oklahoma City.
"His depth of knowledge in the high-net-worth space and attention to detail make him a perfect fit for his new role," says Andy Teller, complex director for RBC Wealth Management in Dallas, Texas.
The Oklahoma City branch office is one of eight RBC offices in the Dallas Executive complex.
The promotion comes a week after the firm announced the retirement of John Taft, CEO of RBC Wealth Management-U.S. A
RBC currently has $273 billion in total client assets and about 1,900 financial advisors.
