Raymond James Draws $1.3M Wells Fargo Team

Raymond James says it has recruited an advisor team with annual production of $1.3 million to its independent broker-dealer operation.

Prior to joining Raymond James, branch managers Peter Chapman and Michael Cardwell, along with advisors Patrick Fazio and Juan E. Papadopulos, managed nearly $175 million in client assets at Wells Fargo, according to an announcement. The team now operates as Chapman & Cardwell Capital, an independent firm in Marathon, Fla., offering securities through Raymond James Financial Services.

Chapman and Cardwell both began their careers in 2000, according to FINRA's BrokerCheck. It wasn’t until 2010, however, that the duo began working together, Raymond James said. Fazio and Papadopulos later joined the team at Wells Fargo.

Raymond James also recently lured $1 million producer James Pohlman from Wells Fargo, where he too managed around $175 million in client assets, according to the firm.
