An RBC branch manager is the firm's newest complex director, a spokeswoman said.

Glen Hatch, now director of RBC's Phoenix complex, previously served as branch director of the firm's office in Austin, Texas.

During his two-year tenure in Austin, Hatch doubled the number of advisors and grew revenue by 100%, RBC said.

In his new role, Hatch will oversee 58 advisors and 107 total employees operating in the Southwest. In addition to the Phoenix office, he will be responsible for two other Arizona offices - Scottsdale and Sun City, and one each in Albuquerque, N.M. and Las Vegas.

"Glen's wealth of knowledge and depth of leadership skills make him a great addition to the Phoenix area to lead this complex," Darryl Traweek, director of RBC Wealth Management's West/South division.

Hatch joined RBC in 2013, according to FINRA records. He previously served at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney.

Hatch joined the industry in 1998, after serving 22 years in the U.S. Navy, according to RBC.
