Knoxville, Tenn.-based BPV Wealth Management is changing its name to reflect its rapid growth in the asset management business. The firm now wants to be known as BPV Capital Management.
The rebranding comes on the heels of the firm’s launch of two NASDAQ-listed mutual funds -- the BPV Core Diversification Fund (BPVDX) and the BPV Wealth Preservation Fund (BPVPX) -- in October 2011.
“We believe that BPV Capital Management more accurately defines who we are as a financial services company today,” stated Mike West, chief executive officer.
“The name change captures the essence of our firm returning to its roots. We are investors.”
