Calamos Unveils L/S Equity Fund

Calamos Investments today officially unveiled its Calamos Long/Short Fund (CALSX; CCLSX; CILSX; CRLSX). Money Management Executive previously reported on the fund’s launch.

The fund will take long and short positions in equity securities of large and mid-cap U.S. companies.

"The addition of our long/short team last summer and the launch of this product demonstrate our commitment to the alternatives space and to the continued measured expansion of the Calamos Investment Team and product platform," stated John Calamos, Sr., chief executive officer and global co-chief investment officer of Calamos Investments.
