Investors Pump $2.5 Billion into U.S. ETFs

U.S. exchange-traded fund assets rose $2.49 billion to $1.408 trillion in February, according to Investment Company Institute.

Over the past 12 months, ETF assets have increased $225.47 billion, or 19.1%.

Domestic equity ETF assets have increased $121.81 billion since February 2012, and global equity ETFs assets rose $58.79 billion during this period. At the end of February 2013, assets of bond funds were $244.91 billion and hybrid funds were $854 million.
