Rachel Robasciotti on social justice investing and milestones at Adasina

Is winter's coldest stretch getting you down? Do you seek an escape from the harsh, frigid conditions on Wall Street?

Then allow Financial Planning to transport you back to the dog days of summer and directly into the heart of Surf City.

This new year, unwrap a special look at the Future Proof Festival through a series of interviews with insiders and newsmakers conducted by the Financial Planning editorial team.

In this clip, Adasina Social Capital CEO Rachel Robasciotti told FP Chief Correspondent Tobias Salinger about the company's Social Justice All Cap Global ETF (Ticker: JSTC) passing the important milestone of $100 million in assets under management last year and how the impact investing firm is further developing the data it shares with industry professionals, investors and the public. Robasciotti's team has set a goal of getting to $1 billion in the fund.

She also discussed her speech at the opening of the conference, in which she shared her view that "social justice investing" is "the primary way to future-proof a portfolio." The event gave Robasciotti a chance to connect with financial advisors seeking to connect their clients' portfolios to their principles around racial equality, climate change and other issues, she said.

Dates for Future Proof 2023 have already been announced. The event is slated to return to the beach Sept. 10-13, 2023.
