Six advisors who managed $638 million in client assets for Morgan Stanley and UBS have moved to Raymond James & Associates, citing factors ranging from technology to a more people-centered culture.
“At Raymond James, it really feels like it’s about the people and not just the numbers,” advisor Lynn Shook said in a statement. Shook and fellow advisor Jason Jachimowicz joined Raymond James in the firm’s downtown Boulder, Colorado office as Emerald Peak Wealth Management. The team previously managed $140 million for clients at Morgan Stanley, according to Pat Allison, Western divisional director for Raymond James.
In Columbia, South Carolina, advisor Jac Carrington joined Raymond James along with his senior client service associate, Dani Burnett. Previously, Carrington managed $134 million at Morgan Stanley, according to Dick Ferguson, Southern divisional director for Raymond James.
In Woodland Hills, California, advisors Charles Isaacs and David Paller and their team, which includes advisor Thomas Rockel and senior client service associate Stella Llamas, left UBS where they had managed $360 million. They operate as Isaacs & Paller Wealth Management.
