Raymond James is continuing to expand and recently recruited two financial advisors to open its newest location in Racine, Wisconsin.
Jeff Porasik and Suzanne Yde have joined Raymond James & Associates, the firm’s traditional employee broker-dealer, in the new Racine office. The team is joining from Wells Fargo, where they previously managed more than $405 million in client assets and had approximately $1.6 million in production.

Meanwhile, Raymond James has taken advantage of the trend of advisors wanting to leave wirehouses and has recruited advisor teams all over the country. Most recently, the St. Petersburg, Florida-based firm added advisors in
Porasik and Yde are leaving the wirehouse because they say they prefer the culture change and the flexibility of a regional firm.
“I wanted to be with a firm where I had the freedom to truly do what’s in my clients’ best interests at all times, without influence from firm pressures,” Porasik says, adding, “Raymond James provides the right balance of service and flexibility that I knew I needed to best serve our clients going forward.”
Yde also said that she was looking forward to client-focused culture at Raymond James.

Both Porasik and Yde bring more than 20 years of experience in wealth management to Raymond James. Porasik began his career at The Milwaukee Company in 1987 and joined Wachovia Securities, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2003. Yde served as a client associate and operations manager at Wells Fargo and its predecessors before becoming a financial advisor in 1998, according to FINRA Broker Check.
The team will also bring Janet Ertl, a senior registered client service associate, with them to the Racine office and will operate as Porasik Yde Wealth Management of Raymond James. The location will be managed by Gary Sievewright, a Raymond James complex manager and senior vice president of investments. Sievewright also left Wells Fargo in 2015 to work with clients at Raymond James and build the firm’s presence in Wisconsin.
