River Road Subadvises Aston’s Latest Fund

Chicago-based Aston Asset Management, LP has added the ASTON/River Road Dividend All Cap Value Fund II (ADVTX N Class)(ADIVX I-Class) to its family of funds.

River Road Asset Management is the fund’s subadviser. The fund’s portfolio managers are Henry W. Sanders, senior portfolio manager of River Road, Thomas S. Forsha, portfolio manager of River Road, and James C. Shircliff, chief investment officer of River Road.

The fund’s predecessor, the ASTON/River Road Dividend All Cap Value Fund in December 2011, closed to new investors last December. "The closure was met with some disappointment from our clients,” stated Stuart D. Bilton, chairman and chief executive officer of Aston. “So, it is with great pleasure that we are now opening the ASTON/River Road Dividend All Cap Value Fund II, which will have a very similar investment strategy, but will typically exclude securities with a market capitalization of under $1 billion."

Aston has partnered with 18 subadvisers to manage 26 mutual funds with total net assets of approximately $10.7 billion as of March 31.
